SAXITEST - Detection of saxitoxins in shellfish

SaxiTest is an immunoenzymatic test performed in a 96 microtitier plate for detection of saxitoxins in shellfish such as mussles or oysters. Human consumption of shellfish contaminated with saxitoxins produce Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP), which causes symptoms from numbness to fatal respiratory paralysis.
